MANCHESTER — The Fisher Cats banged out 12 hits, including five in the first inning, but lost 9-5 to Bowie yesterday. Concepcion Rodriguez, Adeiny Hechavarria and Shawn Bowman each went 2 for 4 for New Hampshire.

Fisher Cats' win streak ends with 4-3 loss
The Fisher Cats' five-game win streak ended yesterday with a 4-3 loss to Portland. Still, Adam Calderone remained hot at the plate. He smashed a solo home run in the third. It was his seventh this season.

Binghamton cruises past Fisher Cats
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Binghamton scored five runs in the top of the first inning and rolled past the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 9-5. Lucas Duda (homer, 6 RBIs) drilled a bases loaded double to make it 3-0 and Mike Nickeas knocked in two more with a single off starter and losing pitcher Marty McLeary (0-1).
