Kleefisch uses cancer battle in latest TV ad
Republican lieutenant governor candidate Rebecca Kleefisch (KLAY'-fish) uses her battle with cancer in a new television ad that accuses Democrat Tom Barrett of supporting a government takeover of health care.
I am interested in getting 2 rope fish for my new 120 gallon tank soon after it's done fishless cycling. I have heard these fish like to be fed feeder fish every now and then, but I have never seen a store that doesn't super-overpack their goldfish/guppy feeder tanks. They often look disgustingly dirty and have so many fish they suffocate each other. I'm curious to hear what everyone has to say on the subject or know of a way I can get feeder fish that weren't treated like they were just food for other fish?
Another quick question... would 2 rope fish account for around 30 inches of a 120 inch fish tank limit?
If anyone has imput on painted fish I'd like to hear what you have to say about the ethics of that as well. I had never seen one until the other day at a fish store I go to all the time. They didn't have them before that.
Just to be clear... I personally greatly dislike the idea of the painted fish.
You do not want to buy commercial feeder fish in any store. They are one of the top carriers of parasites for fish. They also lack nutritional value. They are starved the week before shipping to reduce waste based deaths.
You should set up your own feeder tank with easy to breed / rapid maturing fish fish like guppies. A used 10-20 gallon tank will do just fine.
This method will give you no parasites and the added benefit of having the feeders be a bit more nutritious.

If you are a novice gardener and wonder where to start - Basil could be your answer. Basil can be grown on your windowsill, in a pot outside or in the ground. Once planted, it does not take much of your time. All it basically requires is watering.
As Basil grows, you will see it grow tall with a flowering top. That is the best time to cut from it.
You have many choices for use of Basil. You can use it fresh by pulling the leaves off and putting them (after washing) into your pan, or sauces. It is great with meats or cheeses. The smell of Basil is wonderful. You can find many recipes using basil with Pasta or other dishes. Pesto Sauce which is easy and delicious, is a very popular sauce made with Basil.
Basil is also just as tasty if you dry it. When the plant starts to flower cut the stems and tie into bunches. You should hang theses tied bunches in an area that is without sunlight and has some air flow, but is not too hot or too cold. Another method of drying is to put the basil on a flat pan in the oven and dry slowly.
When Basil is grown over the summer there is usually a lot left over when the summer is gone. Basil can be frozen by taking the leaves off the stem and placing them in a plastic bag. Put them in your freezer. The color of the Basil may change; the taste and smell remain to use in your winter cooking.
If your Basil is bothered by insects or diseases there are organic sprays you can make to fight this. Usually, bugs stay away from Basil and other vegetables grown near it.

Pet owners often use a collar for the purpose of restraining their dog or cat. Collars should not be used for restraint. Your dog or cat can easily escape from a standard collar and martingale and pinch collars can cause discomfort, they should be used only for for the purpose of training and attaching your pet's identification (You should have your pet's identification attached to their collar or harness at all times it only takes seconds to do with the tag-it pet id holder). A harness is the proper tool for restraining your dog or cat and attaching a leash. If you crate your pet remove their collar or harness before placing them in their crate in order to prevent them from being entangled. Choose the appropriate size harness for your dog or cat by measuring the circumference from around the belly behind the front legs to the top of the shoulder with no slack and adding five percent. You can do this easily with a flexible tape measure. For collar measurement measure the circumference around the neck with no slack and add five percent.
It is very dangerous to leave your pet on a tie out. They can become entangled and injure themselves. If you put your pet on a tie out only leave them on it for a short period of time and NEVER leave your pet on a tie out without being supervised.

So I am started a dog apparel line. I have been sewing my friends who have little dogs clothing for a long time and they really think that this is something I should start a business for. Not just advice from them but from others as well. I had an offer to design for a dog merchandise company but would rather do it on my own. I know some might think it's silly but my friends' dogs are their children to them! So, I really enjoy making them stuff. I was wondering on some idea on how to start. I have started amongst my friends but they are more gifts then business...should I start my own website?? Ebay store?? Please expand on some ideas...

The first thing you need to do is start making clothing, I would suggest creating clothing in sizes. Then, the best thing would be to commission a website designer and a professional photographer.
