My dog is a minituare Schnauzer, but he's really big for a minituare. Well my dogs problem is that he always barks and growls at other dogs, even ones that are twice his size. He can't confront other dogs because there either scared of him, or they get pissed off at my dog. There are only a few dogs my dog confront calmly. I think my dog only growls because he's excited, because once he meets the dog he's very gentle and just sniffs around. How do I fix my dogs problem, I know one way to fix it is to get another dog for him to play with. But my family does not want another dog.
It's hard to introduce him to dogs because people just walk away at my barking dog lol.

For RES do heating lamp needs to be on 24/7? and what is it normal that baby slider opens mouth in water?

firstly i would like to thank you all for my previous question replies my turtle doesnt make noise as soon as he went in water since yesterday he never made any so i think its not RI i have a heating lamp i would like to know that should i turn it off at night? or not? its a 12w halogene bulb .. and i would also like to know if its normal that sliders open mouth in water? my turtle opens mouth in water always bt never opens mouth when he sticks his neck out or when hes basking and in water he opens mouth fr a split sec only.. never has he opened mouth fr a long time so is this normal or not?he swims fine and looks very cute i have an aquarium fr him im setting it up will post a vid then bt meantime i kept him in this small box which i made vid u guyz can watch it mite help u answer better ..

No, the light should be turned off at night just like the sun doesn't stay up 24/7. And don't forget about a UVB light also. As for your turtle's behavior, I didn't notice anything unusual. When my turtles are hungry, they'll splash and open their mouths to get my attention.

I have tried twice to bring a second cat into the home. My 9 year old cat, Katy will become depressed and urinate on shoes and throw rugs every time. I end up finding a home for the second cat and after a week or so Katy returns to her old self, using litter box and wanting affection. My question is, are there some cats that will never tolerate another cat in the home?

I have a great dane and am getting a small dog (12 pounds). He is very considerate of other dogs when socializing. But- just in case I would like to ask anyone who has a big dog and small dog how they got there big dog to be considerate (not step on, not bite, and to be easy playing) of the small dog. I would like to know about how people taught their big dogs that. Also I would like to ask how to introduce a big dog to a small dog. We are getting our small dog second, since we already have a big dog. Does that make a difference? Thank you.
